The poems are the second part of a book I wrote in that same time period called 'Forever Life'. It was dedicated to my brother's Larry and John and Larry's wife Sandy... all of whom had gone on to be with the Lord. The book was the story of the fall of man as seen through the eyes of Eve and then through the eyes of the lost 'soul' waiting for redemption.
Both the story and the poems were written in blank verse style. Right now I am only going to share the poems one at a time and might possibly share the story at a later time. These poems are very deep and full of passion. I hope they encourage your heart...

Forward to the book
'Forever Life'
I
had a vision of my soul. Somewhere inside me where the soul dwells I
glimpsed its’ refuge. It was in a place of warm darkness, not
unlike a womb. I saw that it was protected on all sides, encased in
the darkness, safe from any harm. I then saw nourishment in the form
of teachings, words from God; anything that made my soul grow. With
great thankfulness and tender love they were drawn into my souls’
warm embrace. My soul took profound pleasure in the visits of these
treasures. Then I saw and understood that one day I would shed this
body and I would be born. I would be free, and I would be with my
Lord forever.
